In the review meeting, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav gave instructions for swift action on School Chalo Abhiyan, Chitrakoot Development, BHEL land, Agniveer reservation, biometric attendance and many development schemes.

Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that effective action should be taken without delay on the issues on which the state government is giving priority. All departments should run special campaigns to meet the set targets on time. He said that the departments should work in mutual coordination so that the benefits of government schemes reach the general public quickly.

In the meeting held in the Ministry to review the progress of various departments and the upcoming action plan, the Chief Minister gave many important instructions to the officials. All Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and Secretary level officers including Chief Secretary Anurag Jain were present in the meeting.

MP School Chalo Abhiyan: Important preparations to be completed in School Chalo Abhiyan by 15th July

The Chief Minister said that more and more Sandipani school buildings should be inaugurated during the ‘School Chalo Abhiyan’ running till July 15 in the state. Besides, the process of rationalization of schools should also be completed expeditiously so that students can get the benefit of better facilities from this academic session itself. He said that ‘Sandipani Vidyalaya’ is the biggest excellent educational innovation of Madhya Pradesh. To create its identity at the national and international level, the School Education Department should prepare a detailed branding plan.

Chitrakoot Development: Instructions to accelerate the development work of Chitrakoot

The Chief Minister talked about giving priority to the overall development of Chitrakoot. He directed that the construction work of Sati Anusuiya Temple Complex, Sati Anusuiya Multi Facility Center and Gupta Godavari Temple Complex should be completed expeditiously. He said that the Uttar Pradesh government is also positive about the ‘Mandakini River Linking Project’. This project will be finalized soon in the meeting of the Chief Ministers of both the states.

Institutions will get incentives for the development of religious places

The Chief Minister said that religious and social institutions should be encouraged to construct Dharamshala, Sarai, food fields, ponds, drinking water tanks, hospitals and other public facilities at religious places like Amarkantak, Chitrakoot, Omkareshwar, Maheshwar, Datia, Orchha and Maihar. He said that consideration can be given to giving exemption in registration fees, grants or other types of government concessions to such institutions.

Important instructions given regarding land of BHEL and Union Carbide

The Chief Minister directed Bhopal-based Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) to start the process of taking back the land previously allotted to it, which is currently not in use. For this, the Central Heavy Industries Ministry was asked to take immediate action in coordination.

Along with this, instructions were given to develop a grand memorial on the land freed from chemical waste of Union Carbide India Limited (UCIL). The Chief Minister asked APCO to study the museum located at Bhuj in Gujarat and prepare a proposal of the same level for Bhopal.

Special campaign will be run for free registry of rural population land

The Chief Minister said that a comprehensive campaign should be launched for free registry of populated land in about 53 thousand villages of the state. People should be registered by organizing camps in every village and wide publicity of this scheme should also be ensured. He also said that the process of declaring rural abadi land should be made simpler so that people do not face any kind of problem.

Emphasis also on drinking water system and appointment of home guards in temples.

The Chief Minister directed the officials to ensure preparation of drinking water system in urban and rural areas for the summer season in advance. He said that this year there was no need to transport drinking water in any district of the state, such situation should continue in future also. He directed to create home guard posts in other major temples on the lines of Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple and make arrangements for their appointment through temple committees.

Agniveer Reservation: Agniveer will get 20 percent reservation in police recruitment.

The Chief Minister said that fire warriors should be given 20 percent reservation during recruitment to constable posts in the Special Armed Forces of Madhya Pradesh Police. He instructed the Additional Chief Secretary Home to take necessary action in this regard immediately.

Biometric attendance will be implemented in government offices

The Chief Minister said that all government employees and officers should work by being present in the office at the scheduled time from 10 am to 6 pm. He directed to implement biometric attendance system to ensure timely attendance and departure of officers and employees in Mantralaya, Vindhyachal and Satpura Bhawan.

Plan to build Samrasta Hostel

The Chief Minister said that the hostels run separately by different departments should be rationalized and converted into joint hostels. In this, students of all sections will be kept together so that the feeling of social harmony develops in them. Such hostels will be named ‘Samarsata Hostel’.

Work will be done rapidly on Ram Van Gamanpath, Shri Krishna Patheya and new airport.

The Chief Minister directed to provide necessary land for the development of Chitrakoot and Mamleshwar. He said that the process should be completed by using forest land as per requirement. Along with this, emphasis was laid on completing ‘Ram Van Gamanpath’ and ‘Shri Krishna Patheya Project’ within the stipulated time limit. The Chief Minister directed to expedite the construction work of the proposed new airport in place of Datana-Matana airstrip of Ujjain. Officials said that land acquisition and preliminary legal process has been completed and Bhoomi Pujan will be conducted soon.

All departments should complete the target in stipulated time.

At the end of the meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav directed all the departments to prepare a detailed action plan as per the set targets and complete all the works in a time bound manner so that the benefits of the government’s priorities can reach the people of the state quickly.
