IPL 2026, RCB Prize Money: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has confirmed its place in the final of IPL 2026. On May 26, RCB was successful in reaching the final for the second consecutive time by defeating Gujarat Titans by 92 runs at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala. Now the title match will be played on 31st May at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. In this match, RCB will face the winning team of Qualifier-2. However, Royal Challengers Bangalore has made a profit of crores of rupees even before the title match.
How much money will RCB get from BCCI?
Actually, after reaching the final, it is certain that Royal Challengers Bangalore will get huge prize money from BCCI. RCB, which became the champion in the last season (IPL 2025), got a prize money of Rs 20 crore, while the runner-up team Punjab Kings was given Rs 13 crore. In such a situation, RCB has secured a guarantee of at least Rs 13 crore prize money by reaching the finals. If the team wins the title then this amount will reach Rs 20 crore. However, BCCI has not yet announced the prize money for IPL 2026, so it is believed that this time too the same amount of prize money will be received as last year.
RCB one step away from the title
After winning their first title in IPL 2025 last year, RCB is in great form this season too. Royal Challengers Bangalore had finished the league stage on top. He won 9 out of 14 matches and scored a total of 18 points. It was also far ahead of other teams in terms of net run rate. Then in Qualifier-1 also, RCB’s dominance was seen and they dominated from the beginning of the match.
In Qualifier-1, Royal Challengers Bangalore, batting first, scored 254 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. During this, Rajat Patidar played a stormy innings and scored unbeaten 93 runs on 33 balls. In reply, Gujarat Titans team was all out after scoring 162 runs. During this period, Jacob Duffy took maximum 3 wickets. Whereas, Josh Hazlewood, Rasikh Salam Dar and Krunal Pandya achieved 2 successes each. Now RCB is eyeing its second IPL title.
