The fragrance and beautiful white petals of Mongra flower fascinate anyone. It is also called Mogra or Arabian Jasmine. Apart from enhancing the beauty of the garden, it is also used in Mongra Puja, Hair Gajra and Ayurveda. Mongra plant should be planted in a place where it gets sunlight for at least 4–6 hours. If it is summer season, then light shade is also necessary in the scorching heat. You can easily install it in the balcony, terrace or open garden as per your choice.

If you want good growth of Mongra then you should use loamy soil. Mixing cowdung manure or vermicompost in the soil from time to time improves the growth of the plant. Do not allow water to accumulate in the soil otherwise the roots may rot. If you are planting a plant in a pot, take care of drainage. Water once in 5–7 days in winter and once in 2–3 days in summer.
