Defense Minister Rajnath Singh also wrote on X (Twitter), “The Prime Minister is very worried and is constantly monitoring the situation.” The Prime Minister’s Office has been instructed to put full strength in relief and rescue work from the Prime Minister’s Office.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh reached Jammu, met injured
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh reached the Government Medical College Hospital in Jammu on Sunday and met the injured admitted there. He reviewed the condition of the victims and reviewed their treatment. All the injured hospitalized said that they are satisfied with the treatment.

Landslide stopped visiting the affected village
The Defense Minister had planned to visit Chishoti village in Kishtwar, but his visit could not be possible due to landslides and continuous rains. He said that “I could even get down to Gulabgarh, it was difficult to reach the village of Chishoti because the roads are blocked by landslides.” Because of this, he decided to join the affected families through video conferencing.

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh were also present with Rajnath Singh. After reaching the hospital, he reviewed the condition of the injured. The state administration has engaged the army, NDRF and SDRF in relief and rescue operations.
