Paush Putrada Ekadashi 2025 Daan: The date of Ekadashi is considered very special in Sanatan Dharma. This date is dedicated to Lord Shri Hari Vishnu, the sustainer of the world. There is a tradition of special worship and fasting of Lord Vishnu on Ekadashi. There are two Ekadashi fasts every month. One fast falls on Krishna and the other on Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha. The fast of Pausha Putrada Ekadashi is observed in the Shukla Paksha of Pausha month.

It is clear from its name that this fast is kept for happiness and progress in the life of the child. By observing fast on Pausha Putrada Ekadashi, one gets special blessings of Lord Vishnu. Wealth and prosperity remain in the house. However, according to the scriptures, donating some things on this auspicious date is considered prohibited. It is believed that donating these things on Pausha Putrada Ekadashi takes away the happiness and peace of the house.

Tomorrow is Paush Putrada Ekadashi (Paush Putrada Ekadashi 2025 Date)

According to Drik Panchang, the Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Paush month is starting tomorrow on 30th December at 7.50 am. This Ekadashi tithi will end on 31st December at 05 am. In such a situation, according to Udaya Tithi, Pausha Putrada Ekadashi fast will be observed on 30th December this year i.e. tomorrow.

Do not donate these things on Paush Putrada Ekadashi

• Do not donate oil on Posh Putrada Ekadashi. Donating oil on this day is not considered auspicious. According to beliefs, donating oil on this day increases sorrow and financial problems in the life of children.
• Donating sesame seeds on this day is considered inauspicious. Sesame seeds are said to be related to ancestral karma, hence donating sesame seeds on Posh Putrada Ekadashi reduces the results of the fast.
• In Hindu religious scriptures, donating or consuming rice on the day of Ekadashi is considered prohibited. Doing this hinders the fast.
• Do not donate salt on Pausha Putrada Ekadashi. Do not even consume it on this day. Doing this brings unnecessary problems in life.
• Do not donate shoes, belts or other leather items on this day. Doing this increases negative energy.
• Do not donate black clothes or blankets on Ekadashi.
