Paush Putrada Ekadashi 2025: Ekadashi is considered a very sacred date in Sanatan Dharma. This date has been dedicated to Lord Shri Hari Vishnu, the protector of the world. Ekadashi falls 24 times in a year. Special worship and fasting of Lord Vishnu is done on this date. The fast of Paush Putrada Ekadashi is observed in the Shukla Paksha of Paush month. According to religious beliefs, this Ekadashi is considered especially auspicious for the happiness and well-being of children.
It is believed that by observing this fast, one receives the blessings of Lord Vishnu, which brings prosperity in the family. When is Paush Putrada Ekadashi (When is Paush Putrada Ekadashi 2025)
According to Drik Panchang, the Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Paush month is starting tomorrow on 30th December at 7.50 am. This Ekadashi tithi will end on 31st December at 05 am. Paush Putrada Ekadashi fast will be observed this year on 30th December i.e. tomorrow.
Paush Putrada Ekadashi Puja Vidhi
On the day of Paush Putrada Ekadashi, wake up before sunrise and take bath and meditate. Take a resolution to observe Ekadashi fast as per the rituals. Place an idol or picture of Lord Vishnu on the post. Bathe them with Panchamrit. Offer yellow clothes, yellow flowers, Tulsi leaves, Akshat and incense sticks. Offer yellow sweets and fruits to Lord Vishnu. Be sure to include Tulsi leaves in the offering. Chant Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya Mantra 108 times. Recite the story of Pausha Putrada Ekadashi fast. Finally complete the puja by performing aarti.
Paush Putrada Ekadashi Vrat Paran Time (Paush Putrada Ekadashi 2025 Vrat Paran Time)
Ekadashi fast is always broken on Dwadashi date. The time of Parana of the fast of Paush Putrada Ekadashi is going to be from 01:26 pm to 03:31 pm on 31st December. Hari Vasar will end at 10.12 am on the day of Paran Tithi.
Paush Putrada Ekadashi Vrat Paran Vidhi
- Break the Pausha Putrada Ekadashi fast after sunrise and before the end of Dwadashi Tithi.
- Before breaking the fast, take bath and wear clean clothes.
- After this worship Lord Vishnu. Light a lamp and offer food to them.
- After this, eat light and satvik food.
- Do not break the fast by eating spicy food.
