New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has decided to meet and discuss with economic experts before presenting the Union Budget. This meeting is to be held tomorrow (30 December) in Delhi. Apart from economic experts, experts from different sectors have also been called. According to the information received, the purpose of this meeting is to take suggestions in the interest of India for the upcoming Union Budget.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget for the next financial year on February 1. Amidst the ongoing crises across the world, the central government aims to increase employment opportunities in India, promote exports and attract foreign investment. In such a situation, this meeting of the Prime Minister becomes very important.
Apart from economic experts, NITI Aayog Vice Chairman Suman Berry and CEO BVR Subramaniam will also attend this meeting. Suggestions will also be sought in the meeting to reduce fiscal deficit and maintain financial discipline.
