This action was not only limited to a medical shop, but also reached 11 states by opening layers of the entire network. During the action, Himanshu Aggarwal, the owner of Hema Medico, was caught red handed when he tried to bribe the officers Rs 1 crore to stop the raids. The officials immediately seized the money and arrested the accused.

How big was this game of fake business?
The joint team of STF and Drug Department received medicines worth more than Rs 2.50 crore from the warehouse and shop. These included medicines from renowned companies like Glenmark, Zydus, Sun Pharma, Sanofi.
- Only 1 crore medicines were seized in initial action.
- 2.97 lakh tablets of Allegra 120mg were recovered.
- A total of 14 samples have been sent to the lab for investigation, which are expected to be fake.
