There was a stir in the RCH campus located in Namkum, Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, when a rare species of snake came out from inside a medicine cartoon. Everyone’s eyes widened after seeing the snake. This was not a common snake but a rare snake of a species which has expertise in jumping from a height of 100 feet. It is said about this snake that it flies in the air and is mostly found in dense forests.
This rare species of snake is also known as “Takshak Nag”. However, this species of snake is rarely found on land. Mainly this species of snakes likes insects and lizards as food. This species is on the verge of extinction. Takshak snake of ornate flying species has appeared in the medicine cartoon kept in the RCM premises of the Health Directorate of Ranchi. No one knows anything about how such a rare snake reached there.

Let us tell you that the rescue of the Ornate Flying species of snake has probably been done for the first time in Jharkhand. The news of the sudden discovery of this rare and very beautiful snake, approximately 3 feet long, created a stir. After which Pithoria’s snake rescuer Ramesh Kumar Mahato was called to rescue it. It was he who informed the people that this species of snake is called Takshak Nag. It is adept at jumping from a height of 100 feet. Which in common parlance is called a flying snake. This species of snake comes in the rare category in the country. Although this snake belongs to the rattlesnake species, it is not very poisonous.
