Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai visited the Bharatiya Leprosy Nivarak Sangh Ashram of Janjgir-Champa and inaugurated health services, rehabilitation works and a new ambulance.
Raipur. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today visited the Bharatiya Leprosy Prevention Association Ashram located at Sothi during his one-day stay in Janjgir-Champa district. On reaching the Ashram, he was warmly welcomed by the officials of the organization and the people living in the Ashram. The Chief Minister took detailed information about the service work, medical facilities and rehabilitation activities run by the organization from Ashram head Shri Sudhir Dev and appreciated the humanitarian work of the organization.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai appreciated the service work of Indian Leprosy Prevention Association Ashram.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Bharatiya Leprosy Prevention Association Ashram is not just an institution but an excellent example of service, compassion and humanity. He said that the needy and neglected people of the society are being served with respect here for years. This work realizes the ideal of “Nar Seva hi Narayan Seva” of Indian culture. He said that such institutions are working to strengthen sensitivity and human values in the society.
Wish for the prosperity of the people of the state by offering prayers at Siddhi Vinayak Temple.
The Chief Minister performed puja and aarti as per the rituals in the Shri Siddhi Vinayak Temple located in the Ashram premises. He prayed for the happiness, prosperity and prosperity of the people of the state. After this, they paid tribute to the founder of the organization, late Sadashiv Govind Katre, by lighting a lamp and paying homage to his service activities.
Ashram gets new ambulance, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai shows green signal
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai flagged off the new ambulance for the Ashram. He said that this ambulance will play an important role in providing timely better health services to the patients and needy people of the Ashram.
Met the ashram residents, also visited the cow shed
The Chief Minister visited the Ashram premises and inspected the health, service and rehabilitation related activities conducted there. He met the ashram residents cordially and inquired about their well-being and also presented them gifts. During this time, he reached the cowshed and worshiped mother cow, fed her green fodder and gave the message of cow service.
Health facilities of Sant Guru Ghasidas Hospital taken stock of
Chief Minister Shri Sai inspected Sant Guru Ghasidas Hospital located in the Ashram premises. He took stock of the facilities available in various medical units including OPD, pathology lab, billing room, X-ray room, ICU and operation theatre. Also, while reviewing the arrangements available for the patients admitted in the hospital, emphasis was laid on ensuring quality health services.
Visited the free cancer screening vehicle
The Chief Minister also inspected the free cancer screening initiative vehicle operated by Dhanwantri Jankalyan Samiti Society, Raipur. Praising this initiative to provide cancer screening facilities in rural and remote areas, he said that timely screening and treatment is the most effective way to prevent serious diseases. He said that such health services are extremely important in public interest.
