Worked in almost 300 films
Throughout his career, Mahesh Anand starred in more than 300 films, primarily as a supporting antagonist. Twelve affairs and five marriages
Mahesh Anand was a martial arts black belt. Due to his good appearance and tall stature, he trained in dance and went into modelling. He had a successful cinematic career as well. But his personal life garnered more attention than his job. Mahesh Anand was married five times, not just once or twice. Barkha Roy, the sister of Reena Roy, was his first wife, but they divorced a few months later. He then wed Miss India International Erica Maria in 1987, and the two had a son, Trishul. When Trishul was just a few months old, Mahesh and Maria parted ways. Then, in 1992, Mahesh Anand wed Madhu Malhotra, an actress, who also divorced him a few years later.
Usha Bachani’s fourth marriage
Mahesh Anand married Usha Bachani for the fourth time in 1992 after three unsuccessful marriages; however, this union too ended in divorce within a few months. Finally, Mahesh wed Lana for the fifth time, but this union was likewise short-lived. Additionally, Mahesh Anand’s friend Sahila Chadha claims that he had twelve affairs at different points in time, some of which involved living together. Despite all of these connections, nobody came to collect Mahesh Anand’s body after his death.
A decaying body in the house
Mahesh Anand’s body was discovered decaying in his house in 2019. Neighbours discovered a tiffin box outside his home that had been piling up for a few days, which is how police found out about his death. Neighbours noticed an unpleasant scent as they got closer to the residence. They called the police because they thought something wasn’t right. Police found a terrible scene when they busted down the door after arriving. Mahesh Anand’s rotting body was on the couch inside.
