Shiv Gopal Mishra, staff side secretary of the National Council (JCM), says, ‘The process may take time, but the effective date of salary hike should be January 1, 2026, even if it is delayed.’ He also clarified that it may take time for the report to come, government approval and notification to be issued, but the rights of the employees should be protected.
