Bihar Board had sent the examination material
According to the information, question papers and answer sheets for the quarterly examination of classes 9, 10 and 12 were delivered by Bihar Board to the basic school of Buxar. Principals of the respective schools were informed and asked to collect the examination material from there. Meanwhile, due to heavy rains, the premises were flooded and some bundles became visible in the water.

Bihar Education Department claims- No harm to question papers and answer sheets
Giving clarification on the matter, officials of the Education Department said that due to rain, the bundles were visible in the water, but the question papers and answer sheets kept inside were safe. Officials say that there has been no damage to the examination material and quarterly examinations will be conducted as per the schedule. The department also clarified that this incident will not have any impact on the examination process of the students.

Although the authorities have denied the loss, the incident has raised many questions regarding the storage, security and distribution system of the examination material.
