National Security Guard (NSG) has been deployed in Jammu and Kashmir. Jammu Zone Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Anand Jain said on Friday that NSG has been deployed in Jammu to assist the security forces. ADGP said that a large-scale search operation is going on in Jammu area to dismantle the terrorist network and network.
Jammu Zone ADGP Anand Jain said, ‘We are getting help from special forces. NSG has been deployed. Responding to a question about the deployment of NSG in Jammu in view of the apprehension of danger, Jain said, ‘We are ready to face any situation.’
Cracking down on terrorist organization is our priority- ADGP
A special unit of the NSG, the country’s premier counter-terrorism force, has been deployed in Jammu following the recent increase in terrorist attacks in the region. On the instructions of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), a counter-terrorism unit has been deployed in the city. In recent times, terrorist incidents were seen in many areas of Jammu and Kashmir. This is the reason why the Union Home Ministry has deployed NSG in Jammu.
ADGP said that massive search operations are going on in all the districts of Jammu region to crack down on terrorist networks and networks and eliminate their presence. He said, ‘We have searched more than 50 places in different districts. Cracking down on terrorist organizations and their structures remains our priority.
‘We will break the support system that helps terrorists’
While talking to AMI, ADGP Jammu Anand Jain said, ‘Some terrorist activities took place last month. We have taken action against those behind these activities who were supporting them (terrorists). We have registered cases and conducted search operations in the affected districts. We have conducted search operations at more than 50 places. He also claimed that he will break the support system which is helping the terrorists.
