Earlier recently, acting Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had said that he would support the decision of the BJP leadership to announce the name of the next Chief Minister without any opposition. There will be no hindrance of any kind on this decision from their side.

On this, Shirsat has made it clear that Shinde will not accept the post of Deputy Chief Minister.
