Today, Hemant Soren will take oath as the Chief Minister for the fourth time as the 14th Chief Minister of Jharkhand. Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar will administer him the oath of office and secrecy at 4 pm. The swearing-in program is being organized at Morhabadi ground in Ranchi. More than 1 lakh people can participate in this program, today only Hemant Soren will take oath. No minister will take oath with him, it is believed that the cabinet will be expanded only after passing the floor test.

Cabinet expansion will happen soon after floor test
Hemant Soren will take oath of office and secrecy as Chief Minister on November 28 after getting a huge majority in the assembly elections in Jharkhand with 56 seats. It is being said that soon after taking the oath, a special session of the Assembly will be called, in which the government will expand its cabinet only after passing the floor test in the Assembly. Last time too, after coming out of jail, Soren took oath as the Chief Minister alone on July 4, 2024. He had expanded the cabinet after the floor test.
In the Jharkhand Assembly elections, India Alliance has won 56 out of 81 seats, which is the biggest victory of any alliance in the state so far. Hemant Soren has scored a hat-trick from Barhet assembly seat and this time he has defeated his rival Gwaliyal Hembram by a margin of more than 39000 votes.
Tight security arrangements in the entire city
Due to security reasons, massive traffic changes have been made in Ranchi today. The responsibility of the entire program and its surrounding areas will be in the hands of 4000 soldiers. In view of today’s program, the entire Ranchi city has been divided into 7 zones. Along with this, only nearby vehicles will be allowed to reach the venue. It is believed that more than 1 lakh people can participate in this program.
All schools of Ranchi will remain closed
An official said that schools in Ranchi city will remain closed on Thursday in view of the swearing-in of Hemant Soren government in Jharkhand. He said that this event may create a situation like traffic jam in the city and students may have to face problems.
