Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday requested the Supreme Court to take cognizance of the Sambhal accident. He said that the judicial process should not be based on dreams but on evidence. The SP chief requested to take punitive action against all the people responsible for the Sambhal accident in Uttar Pradesh, the surveyors and the advocates associated with it.
Akhilesh Yadav has also expressed hope from the Bar Association to take punitive-disciplinary action in this matter. He said that advocate associations should also come forward in this matter. He also said that the people responsible should be given such punishment that the negative elements who snatch the peace and tranquility of this country can never raise their heads again.
If people lose faith in justice then…
The SP chief wrote on his Twitter that strict action should be taken against those who conduct surveys on the basis of dreams in Sambhal. Advocate associations should also come forward because if people lose faith in justice then no one will go to them with the hope of justice. He said that being professionals, advocates will have to bear the brunt of this the most. This is also a matter of respect for their profession.

Earlier, the SP chief accused BJP of winning the elections by putting pressure on the officials. The SP leader said that that is why they have created this riot in Sambhal to mislead the people. He has also raised questions on the government releasing photographs of the Sambhal incident. He said that if the government is releasing photographs then it should also release photographs of those BJP supporters who were present there during the survey and were raising slogans.
BJP runs on the basis of constitution- Akhilesh
SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said that BJP does not run on the basis of Constitution but on the basis of mentality. They use machinery to get votes. If forensic investigation of EVMs is done, if any such investigation is done then it will be found that the same person has cast multiple votes. Akhilesh Yadav further said that this fight is between Lucknow and Delhi. In this the brotherhood of Uttar Pradesh is coming to an end.
