Uttarakhand: 110 year old Aadhat market will shift soon, Doon residents will get relief from traffic

Housing and Urban Development Minister of Uttarakhand, Dr. Premchand Aggarwal reached the under construction Aadhat Bazaar in Brahmanwala, where he inspected the under construction parking and fire station of MDDA. According to the information, out of 356 affected traders, 285 traders are being given plots here. This plot has been given on the basis of the value of their current shop.

Under the scheme of Rs 126 crore, commission market is being shifted on about 10 hectares of land. In which 5 storey parking is under construction in which 570 vehicles can be parked. Urban Development Minister Premchand Aggarwal said that the work of building two more roads in the Aadhat Bazaar complex is in progress. Where overhead tanks and 3 toilets will be built which will be public.

Minister Premchand Aggarwal, during the on-site inspection of the newly constructed Aadhat Bazaar, also directed the concerned officials to find a solution to the dirty drain flowing from the side. According to the minister, provision has also been made for temple, Dharamkanta, LT panel room, garbage collection for solid waste disposal in Nav Aadhat Bazar complex, which is to be completed by the month of May 2025.

Due to frequent jam here, the vehicles coming from ISBT side to the railway station and inside the city have to face jam, but after the shift of Aadhat Bazaar, widening of the road will provide relief to the general public and the problem of the traders will also be solved. .
