Claim made from a book

Earlier, the hearing on the petition of Hindu Sena National President Vishnu Gupta was held last Tuesday, when the court had given the date of 27th November i.e. today. In the petition filed by Vishnu Gupta, it has been claimed that there is a Shiva temple in Dargah Sharif. During the last hearing in the court, a special book was presented as evidence. Quoting this book, it was claimed that there was a Hindu temple in the Dargah.

Mention of existence of Hindu temple in Dargah

This book was written by Har Vilas Sharda, a resident of Ajmer, in the year 1911. Citing this book, Hindu Sena’s national president Vishnu Gupta said in his petition that earlier there was a temple of Lord Bholenath on the land of the Dargah. Worship and Jalabhishek used to take place in this Shiva temple. There are traces of temple debris in the construction of the 75 feet tall Buland Darwaza present in the Dargah complex. Not only this, there is a sanctum sanctorum in the basement of the Dargah.
