The famous Ketan Agarwal murder case of Pune, Maharashtra is continuously making headlines. Every day some big revelation is being made regarding this murder. In Ashtakoot Matching, only on the basis of Moon sign and Nakshatra of the bride and groom, 8 Kootas Varna, Vashya, Tara, Yoni, Graha Maitri, Gana, Bhakoot and Nadi are evaluated. It has a total of 36 numbers or qualities, out of which if 18 qualities i.e. 50 percent are found then marriage can take place, but this matching completely ignores the remaining 11 houses of the horoscope, apart from the Moon, the other 8 planets Sun, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu, Ketu and their strength, which limits this union.
What is seen in horoscope matching?
In Patri Matching or Kundli Matching, the entire birth chart, Navamsa chart and current dashas of both the people are analyzed by placing them face to face. Many aspects are seen in it, such as the analysis of marital houses, seventh house i.e. harmony between the two, eighth house auspiciousness-age, second house family and fourth house happiness status and fifth house growth of descendants is seen.
In the horoscope of a man, the position and strength of Venus i.e. the wife’s factor is seen and in the woman’s horoscope, the position and strength of Jupiter i.e. the husband’s factor is seen. Manglik Dosh in the horoscope, eclipse combination of Sun and Rahu, or the influence of cruel planets Saturn, Mars, Rahu on the seventh house etc. indicate the future of marriage. Which Mahadasha and Antardasha of both will prevail at the time of marriage and after that? If there are lethal or troublesome conditions in the horoscope of both of them together, then there is a huge struggle in life which makes the mental pain of the happy experience of marriage, struggle and painful.
Finding qualities in the horoscope is not enough
Even if 28 or 32 qualities out of 36 are found in Ashtakoot matching, even then marital life can disintegrate. There are many astrological reasons for this. For example, suppose 30 qualities are found, but there is a cruel combination of Rahu-Mars in the seventh house of the horoscope of either the bride or groom, or the seventh lord is afflicted by being in the sixth, eighth or twelfth house. In such a situation, even the good qualities of Ashtakoot are not able to stop the separation or discord. If the ascendant horoscope is a tree, then the Navamsa is its fruit. Many times the planets look good in the ascendant horoscope, but in the Navamsa horoscope, the lord of the seventh house becomes debilitated or gets stuck in the axis of Rahu-Ketu. For real happiness in marriage, it is essential for Navamsha to be strong.
Ashtakoot matching cannot capture the age or serious health problems of both. If there is a combination of short life or serious illness in the horoscope of a person, then even after getting the qualities, the happiness of marital life will be hampered. After marriage, if in the horoscope of both the partners, the periods of mental stress, depression or separation of the planets like Rahu, Ketu or Mahadasha of afflicted Saturn start, then even after mutual understanding, the circumstances become such that the relationship comes on the verge of breaking.
On what does it depend whether the marriage will last or not?
Overall, Ashtakoot matching (gun matching) only tells how much similarity there is in the mind and nature of both, but whether the marriage will last or not, it completely depends on the subtle analysis of Patri Matching Bhava, Bhavesh, Karak and Dasha. Therefore, taking the decision of marriage only on the basis of qualities can be risky.
