Kumar Mangat Pathak told in a conversation with Bollywood Hungama that Akshay Khanna has put him in trouble by leaving ‘Drishyam 3’ just 10 days before the shooting started. He says, “When he (Akshay Khanna) heard the script at his farmhouse in Alibaug, he liked it very much. He said, “This is a Rs 500 crore film. I have never heard such a script in my life.” She also hugged Abhishek (reader, director of the film) and the writer. Then our negotiations started and we agreed on her fees. We also signed an agreement. She also got the advance. While we had also paid the designer for her clothes. And 10 days before her shooting, she refused to work in the film.”
