OnePlus is expected to introduce a new model after the release of OnePlus 15 and 15R. The new model going by the name OnePlus Turbo in Chinese markets may be unveiled in India by the name OnePlus Nord 6. This new model is rumoured to be for customers who are drawn by the need for power and endurance.

OnePlus’ China President, Li Jie Louis, posted a teaser for the Turbo on Weibo, saying it is a “product with ‘terrifying’ performance, battery life, and gaming experience.” Based on the hype, it would seem that this is possibly the bravest phone from OnePlus yet.
Design and Display
Pictures leaked online indicate a very familiar design, with a squaricle camera module on the left, volume and power buttons on the right, and a shiny plastic panel that is black and blue. The 6.8-inch, 1.5K screen is said to support a 144 Hz display rate.
Performance and Software
It is expected to come with Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processors, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB or 256GB of storage. The OxygenOS 16, which runs on Android 16, will ensure that it maintains continuity with other recent smartphones from OnePlus.
Cameras
Perhaps the OnePlus Turbo will come equipped with a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 32MP selfie shooter. Though similar to the OnePlus 15 series cameras, they will be capable of performing their duties well.
Massive Battery & Charging
The first thing to notice about this phone is the supposed battery life of 9,000 mAh, making this the biggest battery ever installed in any of its models. Even with such capabilities, charging speed may only support 80W.
Launch Timeline
There are reports that this new product is scheduled for a March 2026 launch, which may happen at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The Indian launch is expected soon, but we are waiting for an official announcement.
