High voltage drama took place at the wedding of an army soldier in Chhapra district of Bihar. Preparations were going on for the young man’s marriage. The wedding procession was about to leave when suddenly the soldier’s girlfriend arrives at his house. The girlfriend starts claiming that we both were married 8 years ago. When the family members and the soldier himself were not ready to accept this, the girlfriend took the help of the police and got married to the soldier.
The marriage of Army soldier Pappu, living in Majhi police station area of Chhapra district, was fixed with a girl from Uttar Pradesh. Preparations for the wedding ceremony were going on in full swing in both the families. On Friday, the jawan’s wedding procession was getting ready to leave when the jawan’s girlfriend suddenly reached his house. During this time the girlfriend started claiming that Pappu and her were married 8 years ago. He further says that I will not let this happen.
Police got the marriage done
When the groom and his family did not listen to the girl, she went to Majhi police station and lodged a complaint against the groom and his family. As soon as information about the matter was received, the future wife of Jawan Pappu also reached Chapra. The police intervened in this matter and got the army man married to his eight-year old girlfriend late on Friday evening. Both of them got married in the Hanuman Garhi temple located in Manjhi Ramghat.
Soldier threatened with legal action
Several dozen people, including Manjhi Nagar Panchayat’s chief councilor representative Bittu Rai, witnessed this wedding ceremony. The girl from Uttar Pradesh with whom young Pappu’s marriage was fixed has threatened Pappu of legal action after marrying his girlfriend. Majhi Police Station President Amit Kumar said that the marriage was solemnized after the agreement of both the parties.
