Buildings started shaking in Taipei due to strong earthquake
According to reports, Taiwan’s Meteorological Department said that a 7.0 magnitude earthquake occurred late Saturday night about 20 miles away from Taiwan’s north-eastern coastal city Yilan. Due to the strong tremors of the earthquake, many multi-storey buildings in the capital Taipei started shaking. The depth of the earthquake was 73 kilometers below sea level. At present the damage is being assessed.
