Greater Noida Cleanliness Competition 2026: Greater Noida Authority has launched a cleanliness ranking competition for residential and non-residential societies. The first prize will be Rs 1 lakh. Applications can be made online from 26 December to 9 January.

Cleanliness Contest Greater Noida 2026: Greater Noida Authority has announced cleanliness ranking competition for bulk waste generators i.e. residential societies. The society standing first in the competition will receive a prize of Rs 1 lakh. Whereas the societies standing second and third will get Rs 75,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively. Two societies will be given Rs 25,000 each as consolation prizes.

Non-residential institutions can also participate

Not only residential societies, but non-residential societies can also apply for the competition. The same amount of first, second, third and consolation prizes has been fixed for them also. The winners will be awarded on the occasion of flower show proposed in February.

Solid Waste Management Rules 2016 implemented in Greater Noida

Solid Waste Management Rules 2016 are in force in Greater Noida. Under this, bulk waste generators have to dispose of their waste themselves. The authority only picks up inert waste that cannot be recycled. Most of the societies fall in the category of bulk waste generators.

Promote cleanliness campaign

On the instructions of CEO NG Ravi Kumar, the Health Department is organizing a cleanliness ranking competition for bulk waste generators this year also. To promote this campaign, the authority has invited online applications from residential and non-residential societies.

Competition evaluation and prize distribution

The applications of all the societies participating in the competition will be evaluated by a team of experts from the authority. The winners will be awarded prizes during the flower show scheduled in February.
