A week ago, the groom was put behind bars over a dispute over wedding food in Gwalior district of Madhya Pradesh. The police have arrested the accused and his two associates in the case of shooting the brother-in-law. The accused, who was caught by the police, told that the brother-in-law and brother-in-law who had gone to his wedding procession were continuously making fun of him since the marriage. For this reason, in anger he opened fire on both of them.
Actually the whole matter is related to unnecessary joke. Ajit Rana, one of the three accused arrested by the police, was married on 12th November. Ajit’s wedding procession had gone to Hazira area, in which Ravindra Rana was invited to attend. Groom-turned-accused Ajit Rana said that Ravidra Rana was making fun of the food prepared at the wedding and was telling people everywhere that there was less food at the wedding. Couldn’t cook food and sat down to get married. Ajit Rana called Ravindra and refused to do so.

However, Ravindra Rana also refused to say this on the phone and said that whoever is saying this, bring him in front of me. After which Ajit called Ravindra to talk to Hansraj Hotel located in Bada village of Bijauli police station area. Ravindra Rana had reached there with his two brothers-in-law Pradeep and Rahul Jat. When Ajit talked to Ravindra about spreading rumors of food shortage at his wedding, the dispute escalated and Ajit Rana opened fire. Ravindra Rana and his brother-in-law Rahul Jat were injured in the firing.
Police arrested the accused
The police had admitted both of them to the hospital for treatment. A case of attempt to murder has been registered against the shooter Ajit Rana and his two associates who were supporting him and they have been arrested. Police said that strict action will be taken against the accused after investigation.
