A shocking incident happened with the bride after the marriage in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. Husband did not come on the wedding night, but was seen leaving sister-in-law’s room in the morning. When he protested, he was beaten and thrown out of the house, police registered a case.
A shocking case has come to light from Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Here, the bride, who left after the marriage and reached her in-laws’ house, kept waiting for her husband the whole night, but the groom never came to her room. When the bride came out of the room in the morning, what she saw was no less than a nightmare. Her husband was coming out of his own sister-in-law’s room rubbing his eyes.
This incident is being reported from Belipar police station area of Gorakhpur. According to the victim, she was shocked that day and remained silent, but after this the same sequence started repeating every night. She would wait for her husband in her room and in the morning she would come to know that her husband had spent the whole night with his sister-in-law.
Beaten for protesting, thrown out of home
The victim alleges that when she protested against this act, both her husband and sister-in-law together beat her brutally. Not only this, he was pushed out of the house. The victim, devastated by the continuous mental and physical torture, tried to resolve the matter at the family level, but when no hearing took place, she reached the police station.

The victim reached the police station, case registered
The victim gave a written complaint at Belipar police station and informed the police about the entire incident. On the basis of the complaint, the police have registered a case against the accused husband and his sister-in-law under relevant sections. The police have registered a case and started investigation on serious charges like illicit relations, mental and physical harassment for dowry.
What did the victim tell the police
The victim said in her complaint that she was married to a young man resident of Bansgaon police station area on July 13, 2025. Her husband works in a private company in Ahmedabad. The very next day of the marriage, she left and went to Ahmedabad, where Daawat-e-Walima took place. After this, when she reached her in-laws’ house, she kept waiting for her husband the whole night on the wedding night, but he did not come into the room. In the morning she saw her husband leaving her sister-in-law’s room.
Police engaged in investigation
According to Belipar police station in-charge Vishal Kumar Singh, a case has been registered on the basis of the victim’s complaint and the entire matter is being investigated seriously. Further legal action will be taken after investigation.
