Katihar news: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi reached Katihar on the 7th day of the vote rights journey. Meanwhile, he suddenly reached the roadside fields among the Makhana farmers and interacted with them. During this, Makhana farmers told Rahul Gandhi about their problems.

Rahul Gandhi spoke to the Makhana farmers by visiting the field of Makhana near Simaria in Katihar. To see the cultivation of Makhana, he landed in the pond up to the knees. He tried to understand the problems and challenges of the farmers. He also talked to the farmers about the demand for Makhana and its exports in Katihar and other areas.

Rahul will go to Purnia from Katihar
On the seventh day of ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’, Rahul’s caravan came out of Bari and reached Katihar via Kushla and Koda. From there he will reach Purnia by evening. Where he will rest the night. On Sunday, he will leave for Araria and Narpatganj from Purnia.
