Stocks To Watch Today, Monday, November 18: Gift Nifty is hinting at a positive start for benchmark equity indices Sensex and Nifty. At 7:25 AM, Gift Nifty was seen trading in the green at 23,505, up 68.50 points or 0.29 per cent.
Earlier on Thursday, Sensex dropped 110.64 points or 0.14% to close at 77,580.31. The Nifty50 index slipped 26.35 points or 0.11% to close at 23,532.70.
On Friday, in the US, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 305.87 points, or 0.70%, to 43,444.99, the S&P 500 lost 78.55 points, or 1.32%, to 5,870.62 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 427.53 points, or 2.24%, to 18,680.12.

Reliance Power
India’s clean energy agency Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has slapped a show cause notice on Anil Ambani-run Reliance Power for allegedly submitting a fake bank guarantee. Last week, SECI barred Reliance Power and its arm Reliance NU BESS from participating in its tenders for submission of fake documents in its bids. In a filing to exchanges, Reliance Power said that it has been “a victim of fraud, forgery and cheating conspiracy”.
Reliance Industries (RIL)
India’s largest merger and acquisition deal in the media and entertainment (M&E) sector has concluded, with the merger of Viacom18’s TV and digital businesses into Star India securing all necessary regulatory approvals in India and abroad. In February, Reliance Industries (RIL), Viacom18 Media and The Walt Disney Company had signed an agreement to combine Viacom18 and Star India’s assets to create India’s largest M&E company, forming a powerful joint venture valued at over Rs 70,000 crore.
ACME Solar Holdings
ACME Sun Power, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings, has secured a Rs 3,753-crore term loan from state-owned REC Ltd. The loan has been secured for the development and construction of a 320-MW firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project in collaboration with SJVN.
GAIL
State-run GAIL (India) Ltd on Thursday signed a long-term contract for purchase of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Adnoc Gas. Both the companies signed the 10-year Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA) for the delivery of up to 0.52 million metric tonnes per annum (mmtpa) of liquified natural gas from Adnoc Gas, starting in 2026.
