An 11th class student was shot dead in broad daylight at Gorakhpur’s Cooperative Inter College. Bike riding miscreants committed the crime in the college campus. Police have identified the accused and claimed to arrest them soon.

There was a sensation in Gorakhpur, the home district of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on Monday afternoon when an 11th class student was shot dead after entering the Cooperative Inter College. The college grounds, where children are seen laughing and talking as usual, became witness to shouting and chaos within a few moments.
Bullets were fired inside the college premises
The incident occurred around 1:30 pm. Sudhir Bharti, a class 11 student, was standing with his friends in the college grounds. Meanwhile, three miscreants who came on bike entered the college campus. As soon as he saw Sudhir, he started firing without any fear. A bullet went straight through Sudhir’s neck, causing him to fall on the ground on the spot.

The attackers ran away waving their guns.
There was chaos in the college as soon as the sound of bullets was heard. Students started running here and there and within some time a large number of students gathered at the spot. Meanwhile, the accused fled from the college premises brandishing a pistol. Within minutes the college administration and police were informed about the incident.
Officers reached the spot, mother became unconscious after seeing her son’s dead body
As soon as the information was received, senior police officers reached the spot. After some time, Sudhir’s family also reached the college. Seeing her son’s dead body, his mother became unconscious. The family was in a bad condition, crying. The police took possession of the body and sent it for postmortem and started collecting evidence from the spot.
Angry mob attacked the house of the accused
The murder of the student spread widespread anger in the area. An angry mob attacked the house of an accused and beat up his family members. Seeing the situation worsening, the police reached the spot and rescued the accused’s family members from the crowd and took them to a safe place. After this, additional police force was deployed in the area.
Fear of murder in three day old dispute
According to the police, the deceased Sudhir Bharti (17) was a resident of Garhwa village of Pipraich police station area. Preliminary investigation has revealed that three days ago Sudhir had a dispute with a youth from the same village. It is feared that this incident was carried out with the intention of taking revenge due to the same rivalry.
Identification of accused, claim of soon arrest
Police officials said that the attackers have been identified. Teams have been formed for his arrest and possible hideouts are being raided. Police say that soon the accused will be arrested and the matter will be revealed.
