Lucknow/Noida. The Uttar Pradesh government under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is developing the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) area as the country’s most ambitious Multi-Modal Transport Hub (MMTH). The objective of this comprehensive plan is to make Uttar Pradesh competitive not only at the national but also at the international level in the fields of investment, industry, logistics and employment. The centerpiece of this vision is Noida International Airport, Jewar, which upon completion will become North India’s largest aviation and logistics gateway.
Focus on seamless connectivity by air, road, rail and expressway
YEIDA ACEO Shailendra Kumar Bhatia said that the priority of the Yogi government is to provide uninterrupted connectivity through all five modes – air, road, rail, RRTS and expressway. Under this, the 8-lane access control Yamuna Expressway has been directly connected to Jewar Airport, which will make fast and easy travel possible to Delhi and Western Uttar Pradesh.

Direct connectivity to Haryana and Uttarakhand has been ensured through the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. At the same time, Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will be connected to Jewar Airport through Ballabhgarh Interchange, which will greatly benefit the country’s largest industrial and commercial corridor.
North and East Dedicated Access Road for Air Cargo

This will give heavy cargo vehicles direct access to the airport without entering cities. There are also preparations to connect Ganga Expressway and NH-34 with YEIDA Sector and Yamuna Expressway in future, which will further strengthen the connectivity of Purvanchal, Central and Western Uttar Pradesh.
Direct connection to Delhi-NCR through RRTS and rail network.
YEIDA sector and Noida International Airport will be connected to Delhi and NCR through the proposed RRTS network to modernize urban transport. Along with this, direct rail connection is being developed from Delhi-Howrah and Delhi-Mumbai rail corridors, which will reduce the cost of goods transportation and will give new impetus to exports.
Expansion of Electronics and Semiconductor Sector in EMC Park
