24 year old Karuna Dwivedi hanged herself in Mauganj, Madhya Pradesh. Surprisingly, he got married only 7 months ago. Before dying, he wrote his painful story in a 10-page suicide note.

A sad news has come out from Mauganj district of Madhya Pradesh, where 24 year old girl Karuna Dwivedi committed suicide by hanging herself. The surprising thing is that he got married only 7 months ago. But within seven months, her husband and mother-in-law tortured her so much that she saw nothing else but death. Before dying, the deceased wrote a suicide note expressing her pain as to why she had to take such a drastic step.

The wedding took place on 8 May 2025

Actually, Karuna’s body was found hanging in the room of the house on the morning of 24th December. Karuna was married to Shivam Mishra, a resident of Badhaiya Bhaluha village, on 8 May 2025. But after 15 days of marriage, her husband and mother-in-law started harassing her for dowry. Her in-laws had stooped to such an extent that they started demanding even potatoes and bread from her father’s house. Troubled by the taunts of her husband and mother-in-law, she had come to her maternal home a month ago. Where she narrated her painful story and said that she will never go back. But his parents explained and sent him back.

10 page suicide note written before death

Karuna wrote in the 10-page suicide note before her death – I am fed up of daily torture. Mother will never forgive her son. Both of them tortured me so much that I had no other option but to die. The one whom I had considered my life partner, gave me so much pain that it turned my happy life into hell. My painful story was so terrible that I wanted to tell my ordeal to someone, but I could not find anyone to listen. I am going to die eventually. I will never forgive these two. The deceased’s family has filed a police case against the daughter’s in-laws.
