UP Electric Bus Policy 2025: In Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed to give priority to ‘Made in UP’ in e-bus purchase. Strict steps are being taken on modernization of bus stations, electric depot construction and road safety.

Up electric buses: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken an important step towards modernizing Public Transport in UP in Uttar Pradesh. He has clearly stated that from now on, ‘Made in UP’ will be given priority in the Electric Buses in UP to be purchased by the UP Transport Department. That is, in the coming time, new electric buses of Roadways (UPSRTC) will be made mostly in UP.

The Chief Minister believes that promoting local manufacturing in up will give impetus to Industrial Growth in UP by promoting local manufacturing in up. This will not only increase investment in UP but will also provide a large number of youths in UPPortunities in UP.

UPSRTC is setting electric depots in eight cities. 4 to 8 universal EV Charges with 240 kW capacity will be installed at every depot. With this, electric buses will be able to provide Seamless Ev Service to passengers without being charged on time.
