Meerut. A scene suddenly emerged among the students coming out of the college campus after the examination, which not only shocked the people present there but also created a stir on social media. A video related to Meerut’s Dewan Group and Institute is going viral these days, in which a violent clash is seen in public between two girl students. In the video, one student is seen brutally beating another student with a belt, while the people present around are seen standing as spectators.
Controversy started after the exam, attacked by removing belt
This case is being reported of a college located at Partapur Bypass. According to the information, the students were leaving the college campus after the BBA exams were over. Meanwhile, a student allegedly made a comment on a student passing by. His student friend present with the student was unhappy with this and an altercation started between the two students, which soon turned into a violent clash.
According to eyewitnesses, an angry student took out her belt and attacked another student near the main gate of the college. The victim student kept running to save herself, but the attacker kept chasing her and beating her continuously. In the video, a student is seen trying to intervene, although he was not successful in stopping the fight.

Video kept being made instead of help, police engaged in investigation, indications of action
The most worrying aspect of the incident was that other students present at the spot and even the college security personnel were seen making videos instead of immediately intervening. No one made any serious attempt to stop the fight. The same video was later uploaded on Instagram, after which it quickly went viral and the matter reached the police.

According to police officials, both the girl students are being identified on the basis of the viral video. Information has also been sought from the college administration regarding this entire incident and investigation is being done as to why the security arrangements failed at the time of the incident. Police have made it clear that after the completion of the investigation, legal action will be taken against those found guilty.
