Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the state government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to the welfare of the workers. On the lines of Hukumchand Mill of Indore and Vinod Mill of Ujjain, action will soon be taken to pay the dues of the workers of JC Mill of Gwalior and other closed mills of the state. The Chief Minister said that more than 8 thousand workers will be provided proper justice in the cases of workers of JC Mill of Gwalior, which was closed for 30-40 years.
JC Mill workers and their families were overwhelmed to find Chief Minister Dr. Yadav among them. Everyone welcomed the Chief Minister. Also said that for the first time a Chief Minister has come to JC Mill to listen to our problems. Now we are confident that our old liabilities will be paid. On this occasion, Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav on behalf of JC Mill workers.
Government wants solution not lawsuit
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reiterated his commitment to protect the interests of JC Mill workers and said that the government wants a solution, not a lawsuit. In this spirit, the government will present its case in the court in the interest of the workers, so that the way can be cleared for payment of the liabilities of the workers. He said that instructions have been given to the officials regarding payment of rights of JC Mill workers. Survey work of the land and assets of the mill has been done.
IT units will get a boost
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that there is immense potential in the field of IT (Information Technology) in Gwalior. To ensure that the IT expert youth here do not have to go out, special promotion will be given to units based on information technology in Gwalior.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a series of regional conclaves are being run to increase industrial investment in the state. Regional Industry Conclaves have been organized in Ujjain, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Sagar and Rewa. In this series, Regional Conclave is going to be organized in Narmadapuram division on 7th December and Shahdol in the month of January.
Global Investor Summit in February
He said that after the completion of the series of regional conclaves at the divisional level, Global Investor Summit will be organized in the month of February. Entrepreneurs from all over the world are being invited for industrial investment in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in this regard, he will soon visit Germany and Britain to invite investors.
