Another horrifying incident has come to light in Bangladesh regarding the allegation of extortion. A Hindu youth, Amrit Man (Samrat), was beaten to death by a mob in Rajbari district. Police arrested accused associate Mohammad Salim and recovered weapons including a pistol from him. According to local people, the incident was related to extortion and local dispute. The deceased and his associates were allegedly involved in extortion. The villagers protested and the mob attacked the young man.
