Madhya Pradesh Mining Conclave 2.0: Madhya Pradesh Mining Conclave 2.0 ‘is going to be organized. In this, more than 2 thousand investors are going to participate on coal, energy, minerals etc. This will provide a new foundation to Madhya Pradesh.

Katni mp mining conclave 2.0: In the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, ‘Madhya Pradesh Mining Conclave 2.0’ is being organized on 23 August (Saturday). The main focus sector of the Conclave is to be coal and energy, energy and hydrocarbons, technological progress, important minerals (critical minerals) and limestone and cement. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will also discuss one-to-one with subject experts and investors attending the summit. The conclave has more than 2 thousand people who participate in the country, including investors and industrialists from different states of the country. The Conclave will discuss during various sessions related to mineral and mining.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh has emerged as an important center in the field of mining and mineral resources. The state is playing an important role in the industrial progress of the country due to the plenty of minerals and the government’s investment friendly policies. The mining sector will not only work to strengthen the state’s economy, but will also contribute significantly to the country’s industrial development and Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s self -sufficient Bharat Mission. Madhya Pradesh is full of mineral wealth. Madhya Pradesh has an important contribution in national production in the mining sector. Here 73% of national production, 29% rock phosphate, 26% manganese, 9% limestone, 8% coal, 3% bauxite and one percent iron ore are available. In view of the plenty of minerals present in the state, an exhibition will also be organized at the Conclave site.

Mineral companies, industry representatives and stakeholders will get platform

Katni’s mining conclave will bring mineral companies, industry representatives and other major stakeholders on one platform, which will encourage cooperation and innovation. The purpose of this event is to showcase the rich mineral resources of Madhya Pradesh, so that investment in the state can be attracted. It will discuss the possibilities of important minerals including coal, limestone, oil and gas. Also, the role of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning in mining will also be emphasized.

The event will focus on digital changes, energy security, and stability, which will discuss the use of AI and machine learning with automation in mining works. The possibilities of alternative energy sources such as coal gas (CBM) will also be identified. Issues related to cement, energy, and mineral-based industries will be discussed intense. The Conclave will also have MoUs with several institutions, which will make all the investment proposals made aimed at strengthening the state’s mining infrastructure.

There will be MoU between them

Coal India Limited in Mining Conclave, Directorate of Geology and Minery, M.P. MOU for the preparation and mining of critical minerals and other minerals between the Government and Madhya Pradesh State Minerals Corporation Limited. Will be signed. Apart from this, a written agreement will be signed between the Directorate of Geology and Money, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh State Mineral Corporation Limited and Tax Mines, Geology and Money, Geology and Minery, Madhya Pradesh State Mining Corporation Limited and Indian Science Education and Research Institute, Bhopal (IISERB). This written agreement will lay the foundation for mutual cooperation, coordinated efforts and resource sharing to strengthen the ambitions of India’s mineral discovery and increase the socio-economic development of the region.

Proposal for investment of 19,650 crore in Madhya Pradesh

The first mineral conclave in the state was held on 17 and 18 October 2024 at Kushabhau Thackeray International Convention Center Bhopal, in which investment proposals of Rs 19 thousand 650 crore were received from various 11 industrial institutions.
