Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that among the basic mantras with which the country has moved forward in the last decade, the feeling of pride, respect and protection of its great men and cultural heritage is prominent. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given this thinking to the country.
Inspired by this spirit, grand statues of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee have been installed in the Rashtra Prerna Sthal built in Lucknow. These three great men are sources of inspiration who gave respect, self-respect and a new identity to independent India.
Tribute paid to sculptors, congratulations to CM Yogi
The Defense Minister paid tribute to eminent sculptor Ramsutar and expressed respect to Mantu Ram who helped in the construction of the statues. He congratulated Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for establishing this grand national inspiration site in Lucknow and called it a matter of pride for Uttar Pradesh.
Remembrance of Mahamana Malviya with Dr. Mukherjee, Deendayal and Atal ji
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh paid respectful tribute to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He also remembered Mahamana Pt. Madan Mohan Malviya. He said that Dr. Mukherjee fought all his life for the unity and integrity of India. He sacrificed his life to remove Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir and Prime Minister Narendra Modi fulfilled his resolve.

The Defense Minister said that Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay gave the idea of integral humanism and Antyodaya. According to his thinking, balanced development of a person’s body, mind, intellect and soul is necessary. He said that the work that the NDA government under the leadership of PM Modi is doing for the welfare of the poor gets its inspiration from the thoughts of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay. True development is to give an opportunity to live life with honor, respect and self-respect.

The Defense Minister said that the people of Lucknow were very close to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and were familiar with his simple, humorous nature. While sharing an incident related to Atal ji’s visit to Pakistan, he appreciated his wit and personality. He said that Atal ji’s contribution to the development of Indian politics, society and culture is incomparable.
PM Modi is making big reforms for villages, poor and farmers
The Defense Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done historic work for villages, poor and farmers. Earlier there were widespread irregularities in MNREGA, but now transparency has been brought through new schemes. He told that earlier workers used to get 100 days of work, now it has been increased to 125 days. This will strengthen rural employment and infrastructure.

The Defense Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is moving towards new heights of development. He said that for the first time in the history of independent India, the inflation rate has gone below one percent and the country is moving forward with a growth rate of more than 8 percent. He said that earlier India’s views were not taken seriously in international forums, but today the world listens carefully to what India is saying.
