Tariq Rahman, son of former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, has now returned to Bangladesh after 17 years of exile. Before going to London in 2008, he had given a written oath to the government that he would not return to politics, but now he broke his biggest oath. After remaining anonymous abroad for 17 years, his return is being considered a big turning point in BNP and Bangladesh politics. Lakhs of supporters have come to welcome him on the streets of Dhaka.
