RRB Group D Result 2026 Out: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the result of Group D Recruitment Exam 2026. Candidates who appeared in the examination can check their result through the regional official website of RRB. Let us inform you that the RRB Group D recruitment examination was conducted between November 27, 2025 and February 10, 2026 for 32,438 vacancies on various Level-1 posts in Indian Railways. According to the board, around 1.08 crore candidates had appeared in the examination. Now the real challenge is about to begin for the candidates whose roll number is included in the shortlisted list. Merely qualifying the CBT exam does not guarantee final selection. After this, the candidates will also have to successfully go through important processes like Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination (ME). If your name is in the list of selected candidates, then now is the time to start preparing for the next stage without any delay. Even small carelessness can affect the further process. Know what the selected candidates should do next.
First of all check RRB Group D Scorecard and PET Status.
After checking the result, candidates should login to their respective RRB website and download the scorecard. Along with this, also check the status of qualifying for PET. The scorecard will be an important document in the future recruitment process, so keep its digital and print copy safe.
Now it will be the turn of Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Candidates successful in CBT will be called for the next stage i.e. Physical Efficiency Test. The schedule and e-call letter of PET will be released separately by the concerned Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC). Male candidates will have to lift 35 kg weight for 100 meters within 2 minutes and then complete the 1000 meter race in 4 minutes 15 seconds. Female candidates will have to carry 20 kg weight for 100 meters within 2 minutes and complete the 1000 meter race in 5 minutes 40 seconds. Therefore, candidates who have not yet started physical preparation should start practicing immediately.
Document verification will happen after PET
Candidates who successfully complete the physical test will be called for document verification. During this, educational certificates, identity cards, certificates related to reservation, photographs and other important documents will be checked. Candidates are advised to arrange all the original documents and their photocopies in advance so that they do not face any problem at the last moment.
Medical test is equally important
Medical examination will be done after document verification. In this, the physical fitness, vision and other medical parameters of the candidate will be tested. Fulfilling the medical standards set by Railways is necessary for final appointment.
Being shortlisted does not mean that the job is not confirmed.
RRB has clarified that the candidature of the candidates shortlisted after CBT will still be considered provisional. If any discrepancy in documents, incorrect information or violation of recruitment rules is found at any stage, the candidature may be cancelled.
What should the selected candidates do next?
Now candidates should keep a regular eye on the official website of their respective RRB and RRC. Every new information related to PET date, admit card, document verification and medical test will be released there. Apart from this, keep checking the messages coming on registered mobile number and email from time to time. For those candidates who start preparing and arranging documents for this entire process now, the next steps can be relatively easy. The final selection in Railway Group D Recruitment will be of that candidate who will successfully complete each stage as per the prescribed rules.
