Bajaj introduce next-gen Pulsar 150 classic with new look

New Delhi: Bajaj Auto has updated the Pulsar 150 for the 2025-26 model year. The motorcycle now gets LED lighting and new colour options. However, there are no mechanical changes, and the update is limited to visual and visibility-related improvements. While Pulsar 150 has been on sale for many years and continues to be one of Bajaj’s highest-selling bikes.

It is available at a starting price of around Rs 1.09 lakh (ex-showroom), the updated Pulsar 150 remains competitively priced in the 150cc commuter segment. Bajaj has not introduced any new variants with this update. Instead, the focus is on small improvements that help the bike stay relevant for buyers looking for a dependable, easy-to-own motorcycle for regular use.

What’s new in the latest update

The main change on the updated Pulsar 150 is the addition of an LED headlamp. This replaces the older halogen unit and offers better visibility, especially at night. LED lighting has become common in this segment, and the Pulsar now matches that standard. Bajaj has also added new colour options, which slightly refresh the bike’s overall look. Apart from these changes, everything else remains the same.

2026 Pulsar 150 design and colour options

In terms of design, the Pulsar 150 continues with its familiar muscular shape. It retains the sculpted fuel tank, tank shrouds, and split grab rails. The new colours come with updated graphics and finishes, giving the bike a fresher appearance without changing its basic design. Features such as alloy wheels, conventional indicators, and the semi-digital instrument cluster are carried over from the previous model.

2026 Pulsar 150 engine and performance

There are no changes under the bodywork. The Pulsar 150 is still powered by a 149.5cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. It produces around 13.8 bhp and 13.25 Nm of torque and is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The engine is tuned for smooth and reliable everyday use rather than high performance, which has always been a key reason for the bike’s popularity.
