Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that Uttar Pradesh has today emerged as the top achiever state of the country in terms of ease of doing business. In the last nine years, the state has made such progress in the direction of economic and industrial development, which has placed it in the category of leading states of the country.
New identity in production, investment and innovation
Speaking in the Assembly on Wednesday, the Chief Minister said that Uttar Pradesh is now not just a populous state but has also become a major center of production, investment and innovation. He said that today about 55 percent of the total mobile phones manufactured in the country are being produced in Uttar Pradesh. Similarly, about 60 percent of the total production of electronic components is also being manufactured in the state.
Result of strong policies and investment friendly environment
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that this transformation is the result of well-planned industrial policies, strong administrative structure and investor-friendly environment. Uttar Pradesh being declared the top achiever in Ease of Doing Business is a proof that the government has created a reliable system for industries.
Investor confidence increased with single window system
The Chief Minister said that the state government has implemented single window system, time bound approvals and transparent processes for industries. These reforms have strengthened the confidence of investors and attracted large scale domestic and foreign investments towards Uttar Pradesh.
Youth get opportunity through education, skill and startup
CM Yogi said that schemes like National Education Policy, Skill India, Startup India and Standup India have been effectively implemented at the grassroots level in the state. With this, the youth have been linked with modern skills and new opportunities for employment and self-employment have been created.
Uttar Pradesh is moving forward rapidly in future technologies
The Chief Minister said that Uttar Pradesh is progressing rapidly in future-oriented areas like Artificial Intelligence, Semiconductor, Cyber Security, Robotics, Drone Technology and Electric Vehicles. The industrial capacity of the state is continuously getting strengthened due to investment and innovation in these sectors.
Expansion from Agritech to Defense and Sports sectors
CM Yogi said that the state has also achieved new dimensions in Agritech, Fintech, Deeptech, Healthtech, Tourism, Hospitality, Defence, Manufacturing and Sports sectors. With these rapidly growing sectors, Uttar Pradesh is now moving towards new heights of development.
