The Supreme Court has ordered not to catch stray dogs permanently in Delhi-NCR. The court said in its order that the dogs sent to the shelter home will be released. Only those dogs will remain in the shelter home who are ill or aggressive. With this, dogs will be released after sterilization. BJP leader Maneka Gandhi’s response came to light on this statement of the court. He said, “I am very happy with this decision. There are only transfer and fear behind the bite of dogs. There is no question of leaving the dogs infected with rabies. It has not defined what an aggressive dog is. It needs to be defined. The court said that its decision is applied in the whole country. As per the order, the municipal corporations will have to establish proper ABC (animal birth control).”
