Maruti Suzuki Revamps XL6 With Fresh Look and Stronger Hybrid Power, Maruti Suzuki has officially launched the new XL6 2025, refreshing its popular premium MPV with an updated design, smarter technology, and a more efficient hybrid powertrain. Built to offer comfort and versatility for families and urban commuters, the latest XL6 blends style with substance, making it a strong contender in the ₹12–15 lakh segment. With increasing competition from Hyundai, Kia, and Toyota, the new XL6 aims to retain its edge with bolder styling and better mileage.
Refreshed SUV-Like Design With Road Presence
The 2025 Maruti XL6 features an updated front grille with chrome inserts, sleeker LED DRLs, and a more sculpted bumper design. The SUV-inspired stance is further enhanced by new dual-tone alloy wheels, roof rails, and a slightly raised ride height. The rear profile sees redesigned tail lamps with connected LED elements, giving the vehicle a wider and more modern appearance.
It continues to offer premium dual-tone paint options and chrome accents along the body, reinforcing its identity as a stylish urban MPV.
Captain Seats and Enhanced Cabin Comfort
Inside, the new XL6 continues to offer a 6-seater layout with individual captain seats in the middle row, providing business-class comfort for second-row passengers. The cabin now includes ventilated front seats, wireless charger, auto-dimming IRVM, and improved leatherette upholstery with soft-touch materials across the dashboard.
The 7-inch SmartPlay Pro infotainment system supports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and connected car tech with over-the-air updates. Ambient lighting, rear AC vents, and a premium Arkamys-tuned sound system further elevate the in-cabin experience.
Strong Hybrid Engine With Better Mileage
Under the hood, the new XL6 is powered by the refined 1.5L K15C DualJet petrol engine, now paired with Maruti’s Smart Hybrid system. This setup delivers improved fuel efficiency, smoother engine start-stop transitions, and better low-end torque. The engine produces around 103 bhp and 136.8 Nm, and is mated to either a 5-speed manual or a new 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox with paddle shifters.
The hybrid tech helps the XL6 achieve an impressive mileage of 20.97 km/l (manual) and 20.27 km/l (automatic), making it one of the most fuel-efficient MPVs in the segment.
Safety and Smart Tech
In terms of safety, the new XL6 comes equipped with ESP with hill hold assist, four airbags, rear parking camera, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and a stronger body structure with high-tensile steel. The Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and cruise control are available in higher variants, along with a 360-degree camera expected in the upcoming top-spec trim.
Maruti XL6 2025 Price and Variants
The new Maruti Suzuki XL6 is priced starting from ₹11.61 lakh to ₹14.61 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), and is available in Zeta, Alpha, and Alpha+ variants, with manual and automatic options. Buyers can choose between single-tone and dual-tone color schemes, and special introductory offers are available via Maruti’s NEXA dealerships.
