Had returned home after filling water
According to the information, the incident took place in Sarotri village of Kangra district. The deceased has been identified as Saroj Kumari, wife of Krishna Chand. It is being told that Saroj Kumari had returned after fetching water for home. She kept the water jug at home and started doing other household tasks. Meanwhile, when she started plugging in the plug board to operate an electrical appliance, she suddenly got hit by a strong electric current. The current was so strong that she fell on the spot and became unconscious.
The villagers tried their best to save
As soon as information about the incident was received, nearby people and family members immediately reached the spot. The villagers started immediate efforts to save the woman. Local people also gave CPR as first aid, so that his breathing could start again. However, the woman’s condition continued to be critical, after which she was immediately taken to Dr. Rajendra Prasad Medical College and Hospital, Tanda for treatment.
Life extinguished before reaching the hospital
The family members and villagers took the woman to the hospital with hope, but the doctors declared her dead after examination. According to doctors, the woman died due to electric shock. As soon as this news reached the village, mourning spread. The family members are crying and in bad condition and a wave of mourning has spread in the entire area.
