The case of an incident that took place during the immersion of the black idol in Bhagalpur on the night of 2 November has started gaining momentum. A video of the incident is also going viral on social media in which a young man is seen climbing the wall next to the Imambara with a flag in his hand and hoisting it. Now politics is also heating up in the matter of hoisting the flag on the mosque. Former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has also tweeted about the incident and called it the work of people of BJP and RSS.
This entire matter is in front of the Imambara built near Tamtam Chowk in Lalmatia police station area of Nathnagar. Where a black immersion procession was taking place on the night of 2 November. When the procession passed in front of the Imambara, a minor climbed the adjacent wall and waved the saffron flag. After which the communal atmosphere deteriorated. The idol was also kept on hold for two hours. However, the administration explained to both the parties after which the idol was immersed. The minor who was waving the flag was caught by the Lalmatiya police station. The minor is currently being interrogated.
Chaos in raising electric wire
To know the truth of the incident, TV9 team reached the locality near Tamtam Chowk of Lalmatia police station area. Where the people who participated in the procession told the truth of the incident. Local resident Jagdish Prasad said that nothing like this was done with any wrong intention. He said that when the procession was taking place, the boy saw the electric wires and tried to pull them up.
The boy asked the people of the Muslim community and took off his slippers and climbed the side wall of the mosque. When he asked for a stick, someone handed him the flag. After which he raised the electric wires and signaled to go ahead with the flag itself. This is why all the misunderstandings have happened. Jagdish Prasad told that when the idols of the temple were broken by a youth of Muslim community in Sanhaula of Bhagalpur, no one gave political importance to it and later the youth was declared mad.
Family members said – let the truth come out
Gaurav Kumar, who lives near the incident site, said that we were there and people from the Muslim community were also sitting there. He has also narrated the same incident which Jagdish Prasad is narrating. Gaurav Kumar said that the boy had no evil intentions. He said that Hindus and Muslims live together in the area. The mother and aunt of the young man who waved the flag told that he had gone to the immersion procession. He said that someone had given him a flag instead of a stick. At that very moment a video was made and it was made viral. The family wants the truth to come out in front of the people and their family gets justice.
