Indore Ujjain Metro 2028: Indore-Ujjain metro project will be completed at a cost of Rs 10,000 crore. Track with 45 km track and 11 stations now in just 45 minutes, ensure easy and fast travel for Mahakumbh and everyday passengers.
Indore ujjain metro project: A big hope for the people of Indore and Ujjain for a long time is going to be a reality soon. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has introduced DPR for Indore-Ujjain Metro. This project will be completed at a cost of about 10 thousand crores and 11 metro stations will be built on a 45 km track.
Why this project is starting? (Indore Ujjain Metro Project)
The current travel time from Indore to Ujjain is about 2 hours. Keeping in mind the big events like Mahakumbh and the convenience of everyday passengers, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has given priority to the project. With the commencement of the metro, the journey will be completed in only 45 minutes.

Metro Track and Station: What is needed to know? (Indore to ujjain metro stations)
The metro will start from Lavkush intersection in Indore and go to Ujjain railway station.
A total of 11 stations will be built:
- In Indore region: Bhohansala, Baroli, Dharampuri, Tarana, Sanver
- In Ujjain region: Panth Piplai, Ninora, Triveni Ghat, Nanakheda, Ujjain ISBT, Ujjain railway station
- There will be some station underground in Ujjain, although their exact location is not yet decided.

With the introduction of Indore-Ujjain Metro, passengers will save a lot of time.
- Today, the journey of 2 hours will now be completed in 45-50 minutes.

After the DPR is introduced, detailed discussion is going on with officials of Indore and Ujjain district administration. It will take 1-2 weeks to finalize it. Efforts are being made to start it till the Mahakumbh to be held in 2028. After the metro is completed, this project will not only make the journey easier, but will also contribute to the economic and tourism development of both cities.
