New Delhi. Taking a lesson from the recent IndiGo crisis, the Central Government has decided to increase the number of airline operators in the country. In this connection, the Civil Aviation Ministry has given approval for aircraft operation to 2 new airlines. Along with this, he has also got No-Objection Certificate (NOC). Apart from these two airlines, Shankha Air of UP can also start flight operations in 2026, which has already been given NOC. After all, we know who is the owner of these airlines.
1- Al Hind Air
Head Office – Calicut, Kerala
Al Hind Air is promoted by Kerala-based AlHind Group. It started in the early 1990s. According to the airline’s website, Al Hind Air will launch as a regional commuter airline. It will commence flight operations with a fleet of ATR 72-600 model aircraft, with the initial focus being on domestic air travel. However, it plans to expand its services to international destinations later. According to its website, AlhindAir, based at its Kochi hub, is actively collaborating with Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) to ensure easy setup of its operational base. Alhind’s global network has expanded significantly in the last few years. 2- Flyexpress
There is not much information available on the internet about Flyexpress. It recently received NOC for flights from the Civil Aviation Ministry. The name of its owner has not been revealed yet, but it is believed that this airline will strengthen regional connectivity.
3- Shankha Airlines
