Dipika and Shoaib crossed paths on the sets of Sasural Simar Ka. What started as a friendship soon blossomed into love. After dating for nearly five years, the couple got married in a Nikah ceremony in February 2018.
Dipika converted to Islam and changed her name to Faiza Ibrahim. Later in 2023, the couple welcomed their son, Ruhaan.
Recently, during an appearance on Rashmi Desai’s podcast, the couple opened up about their love story. “When we began working together, we instantly connected. We quickly became close friends and got along effortlessly. After he left the show, things changed; that’s when the real feelings started to grow,” Dipika shared.
“We both began to miss each other, and everything naturally moved forward from there. We never had a formal proposal. When someone truly completes you, their absence makes you aware of how important they are in your life. That’s when you realise that this person is meant for you,” she added.
