The war of words between Aam Aadmi Party and BJP regarding reinstatement of bus marshal in Delhi is not stopping. Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva has hit back after Chief Minister Atishi challenged the BJP to get the LG’s proposal passed within a week for the appointment of bus marshals. Sachdeva has said that he will go to the Chief Minister’s residence tomorrow regarding this issue and meet him.
Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva said that Chief Minister Atishi, we have made only one demand from you that after the order of the Lieutenant Governor, you have to order the reinstatement of all Marshals and Civil Defense Volunteers. They should have started work on one date, today is the 3rd. Bhaiya, Dooj and Diwali are over but still haven’t started work. We had said that you should install them by this evening otherwise we will come to your house but even today you are saying that we do not know whether it will be possible for the next four-five days or not.
Sachdeva said – seven-eight days of this month will also be spoiled
Virendra Sachdeva said that these bus marshals and civil defense volunteers get salary on the basis of days worked. Due to your carelessness, seven-eight days of their month will be wasted. You are so angry that you are giving examples from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. Please name even one BJP ruled state where contract workers are facing salary crisis. You will not be able to tell, but in Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal himself signed and fired them and when the Lieutenant Governor directed them to do the work, then you are making excuses.
‘If you want to take credit, take it, but put it to work’
The BJP leader further said that I can understand your (CM’s) political compulsion, but I request you with folded hands, if you want to take credit for his restoration, then take it, if you want to garland your neck, do whatever you want to do, but With folded hands, employ these brothers and sisters.
